Together, We Are Karis
Karis Disability Services is what it is only through the dedication and investment of our employees. Many of us began our careers as direct support professionals, not imagining this would become a lifelong calling! Over the past 60 years, Karis has been shaped by people like you who give, grow, and serve in ways both visible and behind the scenes.
Today, nearly 4,000 staff and volunteers represent Karis. Each one reflects grace and gifts to our communities. Together, we carry the heart of Karis not only into our work but into our communities, in how we deeply care, intentionally connect, and promote belonging everywhere we go.
Judy’s story [read it here!] reminds us that service takes many forms. Her decades of commitment – whether in direct support or with donors – reminds us that every role matters. It’s not about titles or tasks, but about faithful presence and bringing our gifts to every interaction.
