As we approach the end of the calendar year, almost three quarters of our fiscal year is complete. The third quarter (ending December 31) represents an important reporting period. We know this is a busy time of year for everyone and it also has the complication of holidays for our banks.
To ensure that expenses are appropriately recorded in the third-quarter financial statements, please submit all invoices and expenses in accordance with the following accounts payable schedule:
1) Final cheque run for December 2020
Please submit expenses and invoices to the Waterloo Office | December 18 by noon Reported in the third quarter financial statements |
Christmas Canada Post hours – result in cheques not being mailed this week | December 21 – December 25 |
Final cheque run for 2020 | December 29 |
NOTE: If you’ll have any December expenses or invoices after December 18 deadline, those should be submitted to the Waterloo Office as soon as possible to be recorded in the third quarter.
2) First cheque run in January 2021
Please submit expenses and invoices at the Waterloo Office | January 1 Will be paid with the first cheque run of 2021 |
