We’re again grateful to the Onward Communication Working Group for an excellent team huddle on self-advocates finding common ground with employees and leadership. Please take a moment to read through it here (also available through On the Horizon) and talk about it with your team!
This huddle is part of our strategic focus on “Engaging Stakeholders.” It’s important to us to listen to, and make changes because of, feedback from people who care about Karis Disability services; people who have “skin in the game.” In the years ahead, we need to hear from self advocates like those in the Our Voices Matter groups across our organization. We hope you’ll enjoy learning about one meeting between self-advocates in Kingston and Ottawa and their new Executive Director, Stefan Thomas!
