The temperature is slowly rising, and with it, signs of spring are emerging. We’re hearing more news about vaccine availability in communities across Canada and we’re receiving more requests for information to prepare for ‘shots in arms’ for the people who use our services and you, the employees who support them.
As we hope, we also grieve. This past week, a person who uses our services succumbed to the symptoms of COVD-19 and passed away. We mourn with and pray for his family, friends, and others who were close to him.
As of yesterday, Christian Horizons has one (1) person using services and ten (10) employees who are currently positive for COVID-19 in six (6) Ontario communities and one (1) Saskatchewan community.
Christian Horizons Global
This week has been calm in Haiti and Ethiopia and things have been running with the new distancing measures. In all places where we work, people continue to have difficulty due to inflation rates. Our teams are glad for the nutrition support as they continue to work with people to have enough food for today and help them to reengage small business plans that will sustain them into the future.
Stay safe!
