On Monday, September 25, 2023, we announced our new name and brand – Karis Disability Services. As shared in the announcement, our new brand will be fully reflected everywhere over the year ahead.
Here is an update on where the rebrand rollout is at and how brand assets can be accessed.
- A new banner on our current website (christianhorizons.org) announcing the name change.
- Our new website which currently has a homepage. Check it out and give us feedback at karis.org.
- New names on social media, starting Thursday, October 5. If you are currently following our Christian Horizons Facebook and district Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter pages, no action is needed. Please follow our new LinkedIn by searching Karis Disability Services, or by clicking this link.
When should I start using the new brand?
For the rebrand, all Phase 1 plans have been completed. This includes items like:
- Templates such as letterhead, envelopes, memo, reports and business cards
- Some pullup banners, and other signage
- Phase 1 design templates in Canva
- Phase 1 promotional materials like generic bi-folds, and postcards
We also have “We changed our name” postcards ready. These are helpful to bring to job fairs, events, meetings with people seeking services, and other in-person happenings. Click here to take a look!

Where can I get the new logo, font, and colours?

Where can I get new printed materials?
We have a list of materials ready to print on CH Connect. We also have files that can be downloaded through Canva and printed in office or sent to a professional printer. As the year goes on and we move through the phases of our rebranding, more materials will be added!
The logo uses a lower-case K. How should I write our new name?
In writing, our new name can be written as a proper noun with a capital K, like Karis Disability Services, or just Karis.
