Karis Disability Services is hosting a virtual Lunch & Learn on Tuesday, May 26 at 12:30 ET/10:30 AM CT, focused on supporting children with disabilities in children’s ministry settings.

This online event is designed for church leaders, children’s ministry leaders, volunteers, and Karis Disability Services employees who want to grow in their understanding, confidence, and practical support of children with disabilities and their families.

Children’s ministry can be one of the first places where families discover whether a church is ready to welcome them fully. For children with disabilities, belonging is shaped not only by accessible spaces, but also by patient leaders, thoughtful planning, flexible expectations, and communities willing to learn.

During this session, Karis will offer a practical presentation to help equip ministry leaders and volunteers as they think through how to create more welcoming and supportive environments. The goal is to encourage churches to take meaningful steps toward inclusion, participation, and belonging for every child.

We hope you will join us for this important conversation and invite others from your church or ministry team to take part.
