Hello managers,

We are committed to making it easier for you to lead, engage, and support your teams. Based on your feedback, we enhanced the “Support Meeting” reports in Karis Compass, giving you the insights you need to drive performance and connection.

What’s New for People Managers?

  • One-stop visibility: Instantly access all “Support Meeting” notes for your current team members, no matter who originally entered them. This helps maintain a continuous, holistic view to better support every employee’s growth.
  • Relevant insights only: View support meeting notes for employees you currently supervise. Reports adapt as your team changes, keeping information focused and actionable.
  • Easy report navigation: Access past meeting summaries directly within the app by simply tapping the linked report to review historical discussions and updates.
  • Two powerful reports at your fingertips:
    • Support Meeting Notes – By Date Range
    • Support Meeting Notes – Grouped by Question (Per Year)

To get started, visit https://compass.karis.org/Reports and select Manager Reports. For added convenience, mark these reports as favourites so you always have quick access.

A link to the Support Meeting Dashboard is also now in Compass, giving you at-a-glance indicators about your direct reports (the green dot or red ‘x’ shows engagement for every employee you supervised, even for a single day, during the quarter).

Why Use These Features?

  • Quickly prepare for coaching conversations and one-on-ones.
  • Spot trends and address needs before they become obstacles.
  • Foster engagement, consistency, and commitments to employees, core ingredients of building high-performing teams.

I encourage all people leaders to use these tools regularly to strengthen visibility, employee engagement, and ensure consistency. Investing in your team each month and the change to the Support Meeting tool will empower you to lead with more clarity and impact.

If you have any questions or need assistance, please reach out to John Van Dijk, Business Intelligence Manager at jvandijk@karis.org. We are here and ready to help.

Thank you for your dedication to building a connected, engaged, and high-performing team.
