Reflection

Our January Reflection is written by Kaylagh Vanwyck, Manager of Strategic Initiatives and Mark Wallace, Executive Director of Org Culture and International Partners.

The last few years have been tumultuous. A once-in-a-generation disruption like this global pandemic helps us to remember what is important. It forever changes the way we live and how we interact with our world. While the pandemic has been catastrophic, history has shown that times of disruption can lead to new possibilities. In remembering the world wars of the past century, we commit to working for peace to avoid such horrendous events in the future. Even while wars were raging, though, people’s resilience and creativity led to small innovations and shifts that have forever changed our world.

Prayer Guide

Our first prayer guide of 2023 is now available!

The fruit the Holy Spirit produces is love, joy, and peace. It is being patient, kind, and good. It is being faithful and gentle and having control of oneself.

The January prayer guide will promote reflection on biblical kindness, and ways to cultivate such fruit. Upcoming prayer guides will encourage reflection on more fruits of the Spirit.

This prayer guide is included below to print and make available at various locations as an optional resource for employees, people receiving support, families, and church partners. If you have any questions about the prayer guide or items to include next month, please contact ministry@christian-horizons.org.

You can access prayer guides and other resources at www.christian-horizons.org/churches.
