PolicyManager is Live at Christian Horizons

On December 13, 2022, PolicyManager (by PolicyMedical) launched at Christian Horizons!

Click here to be brought to the PolicyManager website, where you can log in to see and try out the software yourself. Links to PolicyManager are now included on the PolicyManager CHconnect page and the Staff Portal page of the Christian Horizons main webpage.

What is changing for you?

  • PolicyManager is now the place for you to go to access the policies and procedures that make up Christian Horizons’ Reference Manual
  • PolicyManager is where you will now go and attest to new policies and updates to policy
  • You will receive an email to your Christian Horizons work email address when there is an action for you to take in PolicyManager (e.g., complete an attestation)

What is staying the same for you?

  • You’ll continue to complete the legislated policy review trainings (some include quizzes), relevant for your role, in Christian Horizons’ Learning Management System (LMS).
    • For example, employees will continue to complete the semi-annual policy review of The Rights of Persons Supported in the LMS.
  • You’ll continue to enter the date you complete the review of location specific procedures in the Operations Database (ODB) Tracking and Monitoring System (TAMS).
    • For example, employees will continue to enter the review date of the Emergency Response Plan in TAMS.

What’s next?

In the new year, we’ll go through our first organizational policy update in PolicyManager together. You’ll get more instructions at that time for what to do with your paper-based Reference Manual manuals and some reminders on how to complete attestation in PolicyManager. We’ll be working to update our internal systems, like the LMS, with links and references to PolicyManager.

In the meantime, all employees are encouraged to log in to PolicyManagerand click around the website – browse the policy library, try out the search feature, or read an announcement on the Homepage.

Now is the time for you to watch the PolicyManager General User Training video, explore the new software, and become more familiar with PolicyManager.
