Policy Updates Coming October 31, 2025

Over the past six months, directors and their teams have been diligently updating policies and procedures to ensure they remain accurate, relevant, and aligned with our commitment to continuous improvement.

By the end of the day tomorrow, October 31, 2025, the updated policies and the Chart of Policy Updates will be available in PolicyManager, your central portal for accessing the latest policies and procedures.

What You Need to Do

All employees are required to complete policy attestations in iAttest, located within PolicyManager. By attesting, you confirm that you have read and understood the changes made.

You will be asked to review and attest to:

  • The Chart of Policy Updates
  • New policies
  • Policies with substantial changes (50% or more)

The Chart of Policy Updates provides a comprehensive overview. Reading and attesting to this chart will help you understand the changes without needing to review every individual policy. However, for policies marked as NEW or SUBSTANTIAL CHANGES, you will be assigned the full documents for attestation.

Key Dates

  • November 1, 2025: Policies assigned in iAttest
  • February 28, 2026: Deadline to complete attestations (4 months from assigned date)

You can log into PolicyManager anytime to view and complete your assigned attestations.

Important for New or Transferred Employees

If you have never logged into PolicyManager, you won’t be assigned attestations until you do. Also, if you have changed your work location, province, or position recently, make sure to log in so the system updates your profile and assigns the correct policies and Chart of Policy Updates.

In upcoming editions of On the Horizon, department directors and members of our SLT will share insights into the new and revised policies. These updates will explain the rationale behind the changes and how they support service quality and excellence at Karis Disability Services.
