Policy Updates Coming May 29, 2026
Over the past several months, Directors and their teams reviewed updated policies and procedures. This helps ensure they remain accurate, relevant, and support continuous improvement.
By the end of the day tomorrow, May 29, 2026, the updated policies and the Chart of Policy Updates will be available in PolicyManager, your central portal for accessing the latest policies and procedures.
Key Dates
- June 1, 2026: Policy attestations assigned in iAttest
- September 30, 2026: Deadline to complete attestations (four months)
You do not need to complete your attestations on June 1 but are required to plan your review ahead of the September 30 deadline.
What You Need to Do
Employees complete policy attestations in iAttest, located within PolicyManager. When you attest, you confirm you have reviewed and understood the updates.
In iAttest, you’ll see attestations assigned for:
- the Chart of Policy Updates
- new policies
- policies with substantial changes
The Chart of Policy Updates shows what has changed in the recent update. It helps you understand updates without needing to read every policy in full, unless a policy is marked NEW or has SUBSTANTIAL CHANGES. In those cases, you will be assigned the full policy document to review.
In some situations, employees are not required to complete attestations. This includes new hires who review policies through orientation and employees returning from a leave of absence at the end of an active attestation period.
You can log into PolicyManager anytime after June 1 to view and complete your assigned attestations!
Important for New or Transferred Employees
If you have never logged into PolicyManager, you won’t be assigned attestations until you do. If you have recently changed your work location, province, or position, logging in ensures your profile is up to date and that you are assigned the correct policies and Chart of Policy Updates.
Hearing from Policy Owners
In upcoming editions of On the Horizon, Directors will share more information about new and revised policies. These updates will highlight why changes were made and how they support service quality and excellence at Karis Disability Services.
