As part of the 2025-2026 Operating Plan, we’ve been connecting with colleagues in various roles from across Karis to explore opportunities for optimizing UKG. We are excited to share two new enhancements designed to improve your experience.
Colour-Coded jobs for support locations in UKG (Managers and Community Schedulers View)
Jobs at support locations will be colour coded in UKG to provide managers and schedulers with a visual overview of the scheduled jobs.
Updating the jobs in UKG is a manual process and must be done for each job and location combination. The HR Systems team will begin this work in the coming days with the hopes of completing it by the end of November.
*Note, the colour view is only currently available for managers in the Schedule Planner. We have made the recommendation to UKG that this should also be available in the employee’s calendar view.
The colours are as follows:
Timecard Rounding Rules Visibility
UKG has a new feature that allows both managers and employees to view timecards with the rounding rules applied. This means you can see how your punch times are being interpreted by the system for pay.
To Access This Feature:
In the Timecard view, use the “Rounded Punches” toggle to see how your punches are adjusted according to this new policy.
