To: Ontario Program Managers, Area Managers, Community Development Managers, Independent Personal Plan Facilitators.
We’re excited to share that new Passport How-To Resources are being released for access through the LMS. Following much feedback on the lengthy format of the original Passport Guide, these resources replace that and are set up in a more user-friendly format organized by topic.
The new Passport How-to Resources will be automatically assigned as mandatory learning for all Ontario Area Managers, Program Managers, Community Development Managers, and Independent Personal Plan Facilitators, with a completion date of September 30, 2024. Watch for an email from Workplace Learning with further details.
Moving forward, there will be a prompt in the Orientation System for anyone newly on-boarding into one of the roles specified to review these resources. Following the completed review of the full Passport How-To Resources package the material will remain accessible through the HOW-TO resources in the LMS so that leaders can simply look up a specific topic of interest for quick reference at any time.
These new and improved resources cover a variety of topics, including:
- What Leaders Need to Do
- Shared Responsibility
- Continuing Activities
- Passport Tracker
- Base Funding vs Passport Funding
- The new Karis and Passport video
All of these resources are important in supporting people to have greater choice, and control as they direct their services through Passport.
