Christian Horizons’ core values of valuing people, fostering belonging, serving others, and respecting gifts guide us in our desire for everybody to belong and feel welcomed and safe. We stand for belonging in many areas where people, especially people with disabilities have been excluded and have felt unsafe in their lives. Our equity, diversity, and inclusion efforts include promoting this belonging for those with disabilities and for our staff during times in the year like Black History Month, Pride, Truth and Reconciliation and especially the International Day for Persons With Disabilities.
