We’re delighted to bring you news about changes to Karis’s Senior Leadership Team.

As we move forward with our crucial work, the appointment to new roles and the reallocation of responsibilities among our experienced leaders ensures that we’re well positioned to continue making a significant impact for people supported by Karis and their families.

Welcoming Our New CFO, Sayo Tola-Adenaike

Firstly, I am thrilled to welcome Sayo Tola-Adenaike into the role of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) effective from November 4, 2024. Since joining us in 2022, Sayo has distinguished herself as an exemplary leader within our finance team, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding and a strong passion for our cause. As a Certified Public Accountant with more than a decade of leadership experience in Finance both in Canada and internationally, we are confident Sayo will drive us forward with enthusiasm and strategic foresight.

Grateful for Angelica’s Continued Leadership

Secondly, as I begin my short-term leave of absence on November 1st, I am grateful that Angelica DeVos, our Chief Financial Officer who has been part of Karis’ leadership for over 20 years, will be stepping into the role of Acting CEO as she passes the baton to Sayo. It’s heartening to know that Angelica will provide us with her leadership in this new way before her planned retirement later in 2025.

Please join me in warmly congratulating Sayo on her new role as Chief Financial Officer and supporting Angelica as she takes on the responsibilities of Acting CEO until my return in May 2025.

Together, we celebrate these transitions! I look forward to reconnecting with all of you in the spring. The future looks bright and promising for Karis Disability Services, thanks to your continued support and the dedication of our incomparable team.

Janet Noel-Annable, Chief Executive Officer
