Our Karis Connected Everybody Engages sessions started on May 6th in Ottawa, and we have connected with five other communities—Kingston, Regina, Saskatoon, Toronto, and Peterborough—over the course of May. These sessions have provided a meaningful opportunity for connection, dialogue, and shared vision for people supported, families, and Karis employees.  

With six sessions completed and four still to go, we’ve seen incredible engagement from people supported by Karis, their families, and our staff. These sessions are helping shape the future of our organization—together. 

Here’s a look at some of the feedback we have received from the communities where we hosted the sessions so far. 

Ottawa (May 6)

We are still on the road!   

Next week we will be in Chatham (June 2) and Oakville (June 5), and the week following that we will be Sudbury (June 10) and Huntsville (June 12).  

There’s still time for people who use our services, their families, and Karis employees to register for the Karis Connected Everybody Engages sessions in Sudbury (June 10) and Huntsville (June 12).  These are 5-hour sessions designed to inspire connection, feedback, and collective vision. Registration is free, and lunch is provided.
