Give the Gift of Belonging this Christmas

As the year comes to a close, Karis is wrapping up 60th anniversary celebrations in a big way: we’ve invited our donors to join us in a season of giving!

The needs remain great for families, churches, and our global partners, facing seemingly immovable barriers to belonging. This Christmas season, we invite you to take just 60 seconds to help us reach our $60,000 goal in honour of Karis’ 60th anniversary. Your gift will sustain our vital work supporting people with disabilities in Canada and around the world. To celebrate when we hit our giving milestones, each generous total gift level of $5,000 will unlock a special Christmas Advent door on our appeal webpage!

We’ve just launched this Christmas appeal to our incredible support community, and now, we invite you, as staff, to consider how you can be a campaign champion.

What can this look like?

  • Use your social media to amplify the message –making your own post or sharing Karis’ campaign posts
  • Talk about the campaign with your department or staff team
  • Pick up a physical copy of the gift catalogue (arriving in offices soon) and share it with your friends, family, or church community
  • Use word of mouth to share this giving opportunity with your network
  • If you’re able, give a personal contribution and help us get one step closer to our goal

You may soon notice campaign posters going up in your office, inviting staff and visitors to donate by scanning the QR codes.
