During Joshua’s Independent COVID Check-In, Joshua expressed that his goal was to attend culinary school. To reach this long term goal, Josh had been finishing high school through the Adult Learning Centre in Durham.
When the COVID restrictions came into place and the Centre went to remote learning only, Josh did not have technology available to him to continue with his learning and made the difficult decision to discontinue his education.
Through the COVID Check-In process, Josh was supported to receive a refurbished laptop from Christian Horizons IT department and can continue with educational goals.
