I am pleased to introduce Aaron Kennedy as the Project Lead for the Program Manager Redesign initiative. Aaron will take on this role through a nine-month secondment. This role reflects a critical organizational priority and is directly aligned with our Strategic Plan 2026–2029, specifically the Our People priority focused on role clarity, leadership support, and organizational design that enables teams to deliver excellent support.
Aaron brings 23 years of dedicated service to Karis Disability Services, including 15 years as a Direct Support Professional and 8 years in management. Having served across multiple districts, he offers a strong understanding of frontline service delivery, leadership realities, and the operational systems required to support high-quality, person-directed services, informing a practical and meaningful approach to this work.
His longstanding commitment to Karis is reflected in both his leadership and service, bringing a balanced perspective that will support thoughtful decision-making throughout the initiative.
In this role, Aaron will help lead the operational design of the project, contributing to workflows, responsibilities, standards, and implementation approaches. He will engage Program Managers, staff, people supported, and families through a co-design process to ensure diverse perspectives inform the work. He will also support the analysis and presentation of recommendations and guide teams through the transition to redesigned models, helping to develop solutions that are practical, sustainable, and responsive to future needs.
Aaron’s contributions will be instrumental as Karis continues to strengthen its organizational design in support of employees, leaders, and the people we serve.
