One of our Onward outcomes is that people will direct the services they receive from Christian Horizons. One of the many activities underway to help achieve this outcome is to incorporate Passport planning into the Personal Planning process. To support this, Christian Horizons is offering an information session to help you learn more about what this means and how to do it.

This information session will equip people to have a conversation about Passport resources as part of the Personal Plan process. It will also include information and resources related to non-fiscal year annual budget planning of Passport funds using the Passport Planning Tool and to document passport information on the S-6:1a Personal Plan form.

It is recommended that all Program Managers participate in this learning opportunity and identify the most appropriate DSPs from their teams to participate as well. Area Managers, Community Development Managers, Passport Leads, and Independent Personal Plan Facilitators should also participate.

The information session will be 60-75 minutes long. You can choose to participate in one of three live virtual sessions. You only need to attend one.

The live webinars will be held via Zoom on the following dates and times:

Thursday, July 7 at 10:30 am
Thursday, July 7 at 3:30 pm
Wednesday, July 13 at 1:30 pm

Here is the ZOOM link for the webinar: https://christian-horizons-org.zoom.us/j/84807806302?pwd=VkRFWHJFOWg3K0NicFpPWkhCYTZqdz09

Note that this link will be the same for all three sessions.

There will also be a recording posted on the LMS for those who cannot attend. Participation in both the live session and viewing the recording will be tracked in the LMS.

As the expectation is that all Personal Plans will include current Passport information by March 31, 2023, this information will help you with plans going forward and equip you to revise plans that may have already happened this year.

Your district may provide you with additional clarity about expectations on attending a live session, or alternatively, timelines to watch the recording and plans to ensure completed Personal Plans are updated with Passport information, also in keeping with the return to compliance pathway.
