Over the past months we have been reviewing different Human Resources Information Systems. We have been looking to replace our current QHR (Quadrant) system with a newer product that will be much more efficient for our supervisors and other employees.

We have worked with a number of different people from across the organization and have selected a new system to implement from Ultimate Kronos Group.

To support the implementation of the new Human Resources Information System, UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group), Christian Horizons has contracted with Leading Edge Payroll Group, who specializes in UKG project implementation. The decision to utilize a consultant came at the suggestion of UKG after we were unsuccessful in filling the implementation manager position posted for this project.

Leading Edge Payroll Group will support us in implementing UKG to best support the work we do and not simply transition our old processes, QHR (Quadrant), into a new system.

The project with Leading Edge consists of two parts:

  1. Process Review – reviewing our existing process to understand how our work is completed today and develop recommendations for process improvements, efficiencies, and best practices for our new system. This work is underway and will be completed shortly.
  2. Implementation – supporting us through all phases of the implementation project. The target implementation date of the new system is the Fall of 2022.

An HRIS Implementation team has been identified to champion the project, make recommendations for rollout, develop key messages, rollout communication, scheduling training, and gather feedback. Members of this team and other subject matter experts have participated or will be participating in the various process reviews.
