3. Learn more about Black History Month
February is Black History Month, a time to celebrate and honour the rich history, culture, and contributions of Black people throughout human history. Let’s use this time to educate, inspire, and continue working together toward a more equitable and inclusive future.
To support our learning and deepen our allyship with Black communities, please explore the resources and information available on the REAL Xchange’s EDI Repository at Federation of Black Canadians’ website (you’ll need to sign up for a free account, if you don’t have one). Along with a variety of valuable materials, you’ll also find free events throughout February, such as the “Black History Month Masterclass,” and many others that offer insightful opportunities for engagement.
