It is almost time for our first organizational-wide policy release in PolicyManager! Have you been accessing our Reference Manual on the new platform?
On July 26, 2023, the Reference Manual will be updated, and PolicyManager will be the one place for employees to go to review the most up-to-date version of our internal policies and procedures. Christian Horizons will no longer provide paper copies of policy or keep a copy of the Reference Manual on CHconnect.
Read on to learn more about two important activities happening this month to get us prepared for the first policy update in PolicyManager.
Recall of Reference Manual Binders
Before updates to policy are published to PolicyManager, support locations and binder holders will be required to return physical copies of the Reference Manual binder to the District Office. This is in line with previous years, when paper copies of old policies were forwarded to Systems Managers to be securely destroyed (i.e., shredded).
Supervisors will receive further instruction from their District Systems Manager(s) on the process for collecting binders that employees they supervise may have in their possession (e.g., Employee Engagement Reps) and details for forwarding binders to the local District Office.
This will be the last time we need to mail policy pages back to the District Office – and that is something to celebrate!
Learning Module on LMS (Learning Management System)
To equip all employees on the basics of PolicyManager, an all employee LMS module will be assigned to employees beginning July 7, 2023. This module will cover logging in and out of PolicyManager, using the homepage and searching, and the iAttest feature of PolicyManager.
