In the past week, you may have noticed some changes to reporting and communicating employee attendance following our live classes. Our Learning Systems Specialist has been working diligently to enhance our LMS to create efficiencies for course producers, to increase awareness for supervisors, and to improve confidentiality for participants.

First, the system is now equipped to not only record the outcome (e.g., pass, fail) but also house any course participation notes for follow up and coaching. Participant confidentiality is our top priority; only the participant and their supervisor have access to view these outcomes and notes. In addition, the course producers are now able to take attendance and notes during the class. Classes can sometimes be graded and show on transcripts immediately after the session has ended!

Second, the system now generates automated emails to alert supervisors when their employee has enrolled in a live class and for certain grading outcomes. These emails provide immediate notification and opportunity for timely follow-up.

Because these emails are only triggered by the primary status of “failed,” our grading outcomes have been updated as follows:

We are working hard to optimize our systems with you in mind! Should you have any questions, please reach out to a member of the Workplace Learning Team.
