We are now in the first phase of engaging everybody in our 18-month journey to co-design our next strategic plan. Over the months of January and February, we met with and heard from Personal Plan Facilitators, Workplace Relations Specialists, Talent Acquisition Mangers, Community Development Managers, Service Standards Managers, Employee Engagement Representatives, Program Managers from the Peterborough and Cobourg area, and Program Managers in Saskatchewan. We are very grateful for the valuable insights and input from these sessions, and the opportunity to listen and learn together.
 
Over the coming months of March and April we look forward to further connections with more groups including DSPs, Managers, people using our services, and their families.
 
We are partnering with Davis Pier to come alongside us and support the engagement efforts throughout the process. Davis Pier is an established consulting firm from Nova Scotia with extensive experience in the developmental services sector and an expert on co-design. We are very excited to start working with them!
 
As a quick reminder, we will engage everybody in two phases:
 
First Phase (Late January to March): Dozens of facilitated conversations with staff, teams, people using services, and their families.

Second Phase (May to June): Round table discussions in ten locations during Karis Connected: Engaging Everybody sessions.

Our strategic work will help us mature our organizational culture and better align our work with priorities as we co-design our next strategic plan.
