Read the report Janet mentions in today’s video at the 2:11 mark. This report, “Creating wage parity in community care”, promotes wage equity for our employees, a reasoned approach to why the government should look to the not-for-profit community service model for future growth, and a cohesive way that broad community service providers should advocate together. It addresses current issues of the pandemic, EDI within our teams and issues of gender wage inequity, and historical challenges. Our voice is stronger when we stand with our partners across the community.
