September 1, 2022
This week, I am very happy to be writing to you again, in Dwayne’s place, from Christian Horizons Summer Family Camp at Elim Lodge in Peterborough. This is the first time we have been able to have an in-person camp since the pandemic began in 2020. Families have shared with us how much it means to have these supported vacations again. It is a wonderful time of connection for families and a great representation of community. It is a distilled version of what Christian Horizons is all about.
Summer vacation for students is almost over here in Canada, and the same is true for Haiti. Our partner schools there are holding registration and providing textbooks for students this week. We pray for a smooth school year and an end to the violence that has been so disruptive and cost so many lives.
Below you’ll find the various statistics for this week.
Sincerely,
Mark Wallace
Executive Director of Organizational Culture & International Partnership
