September 8, 2022
I am pleased to have the opportunity to connect with you today in Dwayne’s place as we wrap up the first full week of September. This week, we are settling back into fall routines which for many of us includes supporting our loved ones as they head back to school.
As a follow-up to last week’s post shared by Mark Wallace, I would like to share some pictures from Christian Horizons Family Camp held at Elim Lodge last week. The theme this year was An Anchor for the Soul. These pictures capture some great moments of people experiencing all that camp brought our way this year.
Thank you to the amazing group of volunteers and Christian Horizons leaders and employees for all your contributions to making so many memories and amazing experiences for the families that attended. We are excited with these volunteers as they head back into their home communities and work to promote communities where everybody belongs. The planning soon begins for 2023!
Below you’ll find the various statistics for this week.
Sincerely,
Jackie Monforton
Executive Director, East District
