Three years into the pandemic, Global travel has begun and continued to open up for our work internationally. Ethiopia and Haiti are still experiencing major unrest, so we are unable to visit, however in February, Mark Wallace was able to travel to Kenya and Uganda where he witnessed the wrap-up of some disability awareness training. He was also able to be there when community members received wheelchairs or other assistive devices that were funded by our Christmas catalogue program (see photos below). Thank you to everyone who donated to this effort − you are helping to educate communities and equipping people with what they need to participate in everyday life.

Christian Horizons COVID-19 Statistics

As of yesterday, Christian Horizons has thirty-four (34) active COVID-19 cases in various communities across Ontario and Saskatchewan. Of those, nine (9) cases are for people who use our services and twenty-five (25) for employees.

Overall, cases have decreased since last reported on February 23, 2023. Please refer to the “4-Week Trend Analysis” chart.
