Thank you for being part of our March 10th Everybody Engages webinar!
More than 150 people supported by Karis, family members, and employees joined us for a rich virtual conversation as we celebrated our new three‑year Strategic Plan and reflected on the co‑design journey that shaped it.
Thank you to Dean Henderson and Elizabeth McDonough, who shared key learnings from important aspects of our co‑design journey. Thank you as well to Wayne Jones, Stephen Grundy, Lorie Downie, Aimee Wilcox, Anne Chaput, Harold Shreve, and Renee Grandy, who co‑facilitated community conversations with our Executive Directors about the plan.
People celebrated the clarity and heart of the plan, and the strong focus on people and communities. We heard appreciation for role clarity, communication, and supports; excitement about growing to welcome more people waiting for services; and strong affirmation of the importance of partnerships with families, churches, self‑advocate groups, government, and community partners. Many people shared that they felt seen and heard, and valued how the plan reflects their voices, priorities, and experiences.
