AccessAbility Week 2023 is May 28 – June 3.
AccessAbility Week is an opportunity for Canadians to celebrate people who experience disabilities and their families, advocates, and organizations who offer supports and services. Many Canadian organizations will participate in AccessAbility Week by hosting events, job fairs, and social media campaigns, highlighting Canadians with Disabilities.
The Communications Team is seeking stories from people connected to Christian Horizons to help us celebrate AccessAbility Week on social media. We are looking for stories and photos from:
- People who use our services and their gifts and contributions to their communities
- Employees with testimonies about working in the developmental disabilities sector
- Self-advocates in the community
- Celebrations within Christian Horizons that you would like to share
