Through stories of #HopeInAction, we see examples of our Onward strategic plan in action. This is Andy’s story of how he accomplished his goal of starting his own business.
During Andy’s Virtual COVID Check-In, Andy said that he had always dreamed of starting his own business. When asked what type of business he wanted to start, he said, “A T-Shirt business!” With assistance from his Check-In facilitator Jody, and Direct Support Professionals Marie and Beth Ann, Andy brought his business idea to life! Andy, Marie, and Beth Ann designed the logo for his business, called “Andy’s Tees”. His designs include all the things in his life that are important to him. Together, they ordered 50 t-shirts and they all SOLD OUT! They then placed another order for 100 t-shirts!
