AlayaCare is upgrading its medications feature to an updated version called Medications 2.0, replacing the current version by November 10, 2025. While Medications 2.0 offers improved functionality for tracking medications and medication administration, it is more complex and needs careful planning before we start using it. Given the scale of preparations required, and in alignment with our F2026 Operating Plan to optimize current uses of our digital systems, for now we will disable the Medications feature. As of November 10, 2025, direct support teams will be unable to record medication information for a person within AlayaCare.
We plan to revisit the Medications feature in the future to explore how we can best make use of it, including establishing consistent standards for use. For now, please use the Medication Administration Record (MAR) to track and document medications. Many teams are already doing this.
We will continue to share updates as we plan for the future use of Medications 2.0 in AlayaCare.
