It’s still not too late to register for next week’s A Deeper Communion: Banquet of Belonging, happening on Thursday, May 7.

This one-day conference will explore disability, discipleship, and what it means for churches and communities to make room at the table. The event will include in-person gatherings in Langley, Winnipeg, and Toronto, along with an online option for those joining virtually.

This year’s theme reminds us that belonging is more than access to a building or program. Belonging is about relationships, shared life, hospitality, and the welcome of God. Throughout the day, participants will hear from speakers and leaders who bring theological insight, lived experience, and practical wisdom for churches, ministry leaders, families, caregivers, and communities.

A key part of the in-person gathering will be the shared meal. Around the table, we are reminded that belonging is not only something we talk about. It is something we practise.

There is still time to register and invite others to join. Whether attending in person or online, we hope you will take part in this important conversation about becoming communities where everyone has a place at the table.
