November 3, 2022
Yesterday was National “Take our kids to work” (TOKW) day for grade nine students. My daughter and I participated. We started at the Waterloo Office and ended at the West District Connections meeting in Milton, Ontario. The theme this year (as with last year) is ‘You Belong Here’. What a great theme, especially here at Christian Horizons! Thank you to everyone who kindly welcomed us.
Earlier this week, I read a report about our sponsorship program within Christian Horizons Global. You’ve read here before about the toll the pandemic has had in the countries where we partner internationally. Sponsorship has been part of that toll. Overall, 93 people are waiting to be re-sponsored, and another 182 have been on the waiting list for sponsorship. You can read about the program by clicking here and can even sign up to become a sponsor. I’m a sponsor, and I invite you to join me. If you have any questions about my sponsorship experience, please email or call me.
Here are the various statistics for this week.
Sincerely,
Dwayne
