Did you know you could receive a $300 bonus for an employee referral?

As Janet mentioned in her video today, we are extending the temporary changes to the employee referral program.

The changes are as follows:

  • Any employee referral received by October 31, 2021, will be eligible
  • The bonus is increased from $125.00 to $300.00 bonus
  • The bonus is paid once a referred employee is hired (not after probation)

Submit your referral using P12:2 Employee Referral Form to your District office/Waterloo office today.

In preparation for the Civic Holiday Weekend, we are reinstating the overtime incentive for Direct Support Professionals who must stay late on a shift because someone does not show up for the next shift.  This is being implemented for July 25, 2021, to September 18, 2021.

These are just two strategies we are using to address our staffing crisis.  We know staffing shortages is greater than Christian Horizons; that all human services employers are struggling to find new staff.  The pressures you are facing are real and the recruitment team is putting every effort forward to develop new strategies to find candidates, reduce the time of hire, and implement new technology to improve things.
