December 4, 2025

We spent the first week of Advent sitting with the theme of Hope. Hope that comes from God’s promises, hope that steadies us when life feels stretched, and hope that shows up in unexpected places.

As we come to the end of the week of Hope, we focus on Peace, the theme of the second week of Advent. This week reminds us that God’s peace is not the absence of struggle, but the steady presence of Christ in everything we go through. We’re invited to rest in the assurance that Jesus brings calm to our chaos and wholeness to our waiting.

All month long, you’ll find weekly Scripture readings on Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube, reflections on the Disability & Faith Forum, and our daily Advent Prayer Guide. These are simple ways for each of us to slow our pace and notice how God is at work around us and within us.
