Thousands of people have evacuated homes due to multiple active wildfires in Saskatchewan in Pelican Narrows, Canoe Lake, Weyakwin, and Creighton. As of yesterday, the residents of the group home and 2 SIL locations in Creighton have been safely evacuated and are settling into alternative accommodations with family members. Employees living in Creighton and surrounding areas are also safe at this time.
Our staff are on standby, eagerly awaiting more news and updates, ready to support people as needed. We are grateful for their incredible support during this time, ensuring the safety and comfort of people who use our services. Thank you!

A Prayer for Those Impacted
Lord, we ask for your protection for all that are affected by the wildfires in Saskatchewan. We pray for the firefighters who are bravely combating the fires, and for all who are displaced or worried about becoming displaced. Please bring them the comfort and support they need. We also pray for those connected to Karis—for their safety and peace. Help us to recognize any practical ways we can assist during this difficult time.
