We are excited to announce the renaming of our Diversity and Inclusion Working Group to the Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging (EDIB) Working Group. This change reflects our commitment to fostering belonging, which is crucial for employee engagement and retention.
While we have made measurable progress in matters of equity, diversity, inclusion, many of our employees have shared that the feel like they do not belong in the same way as some of their colleagues. They have shared that they understand and appreciate the vision of Karis, so our purpose is clear.
To launch the reshaping of our intercultural efforts we are calling for new members to join the EDIB Working Group. Your participation will help create an environment where everybody feels connected and valued. Join us in making a meaningful impact on our organization and the people we support.
