As winter approaches, it’s crucial to prioritize safety on the roads.
This season brings unique driving challenges that require extra preparation and caution. Key tips include keeping your fuel tank at least half full, installing proper winter tires with the three-peak mountain snowflake symbol, and assembling a winter survival kit.
When driving, remember to slow down, maintain extra distance between vehicles, and stay alert to changing road conditions. Always check weather forecasts, clear snow and ice from your vehicle, and avoid distractions. For those driving larger vehicles or wheelchair vans, take extra precautions like practicing in empty parking lots and understanding how your vehicle handles in winter conditions.
