C.S. Lewis wrote “Joy is the serious business of Heaven.” In other words, joy is a profound, divine gift rooted in the relationship we have with God. Joy reflects the ultimate reality of heaven – a place where God’s presence fills every heart with unshakable gladness.
During Advent, we celebrate the joy that Jesus brought into the world, a joy that doesn’t depend on circumstances but flows from the deep assurance of God’s love and His faithfulness.
As we reflect on the joy of Christ this coming week, be reminded that His joy is unshakable, even in life’s challenges. It’s the joy that gives strength to weary hearts, the joy that shines through the darkest moments, and the joy that invites us to share it with others.
