Abdisa is only 11 years old, and he has many worries beyond starting school this September.
He lives with his parents and two brothers in a community severely affected by drought and poverty. Abdisa’s father is a farmer, but his land is too small to produce enough crops to meet the family’s needs. For eight years, Abdisa and his family have carried the weight of uncertainty, waiting for sponsorship.
