In a world that presents many barriers for people living with a disability, Christian Horizons is committed to increased access and belonging. New standards for online accessibility came into effect in 2021 through the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, that any private or non-profit organization with 50+ employees or public sector organizations needs to follow (learn more here).
Over the past number of months, we have been pleased to work alongside the creative expertise of the Cinnamon Toast web development team on a Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 Level AA-compliant site to be released in January, 2021.
This new site will be hosted at christianhorizons.org (goodbye, hyphen!) and introduces a bright, welcoming design that responds to your needs and puts the people who use our services at the centre of our online presence.
